You can also find my art on...

Also, extras:

*I'm trying to find a good place for this. I don't want to clog here with just sketches and WiPs, but I also don't like that Twitter and Tumblr both seem to have implemented a "you have to log in to keep browsing this page" ""feature"", as I don't want to lock anyone out of them. Blehg. >_<

About Me

I know my home page contains a little intro, but I figured maybe I should give a more in-depth "about me" here! eventually, I will probably change up the home page to link directly to comics, have a featured art piece, etc. etc. so this is going to serve as the permanent about me.

I'm also kinda bad at introductions, and I don't exactly aim to be incredibly formal with this either, so here we go..!

Hey all!🖤 Just your local industrial goth / artist here! My name is Allykai and I've been posting my art online under that name since 2010, posting art in general online since about 2006 (I think?), and drawing for pretty much my entire 27 years of life!  :D

A recent artistic inspiration has been a lot of how I used to draw during my early days of posting online (2006-2009). A lot of what was popular then was scenecore, Vocaloid music, brightly colored anime, "so random XD" humor, and just a general fun outgoingness about it, without worrying what people thought. I found myself nostalgic both for that space, and that art style I used to do, so I've been doing a lot of art re-creating it and the feel of the time in general (bonus is that it is super easy and fast now for me, too!). It's been a really fun time, and a nice break, as I was just not enjoying drawing for a hot minute there. And my art is supposed to be for me, after all, right? Why do it if I am having a bad time? The look of my site, with its color scheme and header art were meant to reflect this, though it may change in the future. For now... SPARKLE ON!!

Other than art, I enjoy reading, sleeping, music, and video games. Some of my favorite games are the Spyro the Dragon trilogy for the PS1 (Ripto's Rage is my favorite!), Crash Bandicoot, RuneScape, most anything Pokémon, and, TES IV: Oblivion (huge interest of mine).

Seriously, that last one I will get way too into if you ask about, but I am also super particular about how I think a new game should be (for example, I liked it and Morrowind, but did not like Skyrim or Online). I will also rant a lot about how I dislike what they are doing with the Argonians (they are supposed to be aquatic, not dragon-like!), so engage with that interest at your own risk. xD
